Within a quick 3-minute drive, you'll be treated to a stunning view of the Pittsburgh skyline—a must-see for every visitor! Need to reach downtown? No problem! We're just a short 7-minute drive away, ensuring a convenient journey. And if you're heading to the universities, you'll get there in a mere 10 to 12 minutes. This inviting room was designed with your comfort in mind. Enjoy a restful night's sleep on a plush bed with soft linens, and wake up to windows that let in plenty of natural light. For your convenience, the room is equipped with modern amenities, including a work desk, storage space for your belongings, etc. This space is a private room! The shared spaces in our home, such as the elegant bathroom, cozy living room, and well-equipped kitchen, are yours to use. Savor the ease of cooking in the fully furnished kitchen or unwind in the comfortable living room. This room is not just a place to stay; it's a part of your travel experience. Please note that our property is a SHARED SPACE, which means there may be other guests staying in the house during your visit. You'll have a private room, but common areas such as the kitchen, living room, and bathroom are shared with others. Keep your room key on you at all times! If you lose the key or forget to return it, there is a $50 fee for getting a replacement key! This room is on the 2nd floor of our home. Our home is located on a cobblestone road. Depending on which way you arrive at our home, one street has a steep hill, the other ways to arrive don't have a steep hill. On our street, there is one house that the city is in the process of either selling or tearing down as it has not been recently occupied. This is for guests to know in the event the tear down may occur on our street during their stay. We unfortunately do not allow children or infants in our home because it is a shared space and other guests use the home. A cleaning fee of $100 per month applies to all guests staying one month or longer to ensure the common areas are kept clean and comfortable throughout your stay.

Please treat our house with respect! Guests must allow the homeowner or maintenance team access to the property if there is any sort of emergency or maintenance issue. Maintain a good level of cleanliness, and follow check-out instructions. Smoking is prohibited, noise, privacy, and security must be kept to a minimum, disputes must be reported, and security cameras must not be touched or modified. Children and infants are not permitted to stay at this home as this is a shared space. Guests must comply with house rules such as: - not flushing sanitary products down the toilet - trash must be in bags and tied securely - parking is street parking - do not move furniture - do not remove bath towels or linens from the property - guests are responsible for paying for repair costs or any damage caused to the property or our furnishings - guest must take their personal belongings or valuables with them upon checkout These house rules are essential for a safe, secure, and fun stay at the property

Grace and Chibi were fantastic hosts! You really can’t beat this location—being just 3 minutes away from the Mt. Washington skyline view was the highlight of our trip. The room itself was perfect for us; having two beds is a rare find and they were incredibly comfortable. Downtown and the universities were just a quick drive away, making our commute seamless. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, central home base in Pittsburgh.

I think the price was comparable to a hotel that I would normally stay at. The hosts were extremely friendly, easy to get along with and accommodating. The only hiccups I hate were self induced, such as kinda being lost at first to where the entrance door was (in the breezeway) and not knowing where the laundry baskets were for the linens (I didn’t want to be rude and go rooting around for them. For this being my first time using Airbnb, and being an introvert with some social anxiety, it took some getting used to sharing a space with someone I didn’t know but I think I made progress and opened new horizons for me. I highly recommend this stay in this quiet tucked away neighborhood and these hosts were really great to work with.
